The "Bright Yellow Building". The Kauai Fruit & Flower Company was once known as, "The Old Hardwood Factory". They locally manufactured, wood products from native woods, such as Bowls, Platters, Furniture and more. You can still see remnants of this, on the property you'll see a part of the Old Saw Mill, for viewing. The Kauai Fruit & Flower Company is located in the district now known as Lihue/Hanamaulu, and sits amidst acres of lush green sugar cane fields. They are just 3 minutes North of the Lihue Airport.

Family history is also apparent, Operated in the 1960's, by Walter Smith Sr., and 1970's, and 1980's by his con Macky Sr. and wife Jane. Today the property is owned and operated by a third generation, granddaughter, and daughter, Pammy and her husband. Since taking over the business in the early nineties, they have been faced with unexpected challenges like, Hurricane Iniki, and a lagging economy. However with their faith in the Lord, and Hard Work, they bring you the best blend of Hawaiian Fruits, and Kauai products. Many have tried to copy or duplicate what they do at The Kauai Fruit & Flower Company, but no comparison.

Our family legacy continues on, known in the business community on Kauai, and by visitors from around the world. They continue to welcome our visitors to the Garden Island in the true Hawaiian way. We are one of a few remaining Native Hawaiians that operate business in Hawaii, or on Kauai.

We say Mahalo for visiting our web site, and hope you have an opportunity to stop by again, or stop by our store while on Kauai, and try a delicious "Tropical Smoothies", Ice Cold Sweet Pineapple, Apple Banana's, or take a walk through our Pineapple Garden. Either way, Malama Pono, ame Aloha Ke Akua.
